THE CAM PROTOTYPE

In 1949, Leroy "Roy" Howard, a career game inventor for Parker Brothers, developed a sized-down version of Camelot and called it Cam.  Parker Brothers released the game that year.

The original Cam prototype materials have been acquired by the WCF from Mr. Howard's family.

Included in the photographs below are the gamebox, the game (peg-board style), and a "paste-up" instruction manual.  All are unique.
